2007 MTV MOVIE AWARDS WILL PREMIERE ON MTV UK ON MONDAY JUNE 4TH @ 9PM
Victoria Beckham is fixed to make her first official US television appearance since moving to the states, to present an award at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.
Mrs Beckham joins the growing list of Tinsletown’s finest confirmed to attend, including; Cameron Diaz, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Biel, Mandy Moore, Robin Williams, Justin Long and Bruce Willis. They join previously announced presenters; Jessica Alba, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Chris Tucker, Shia LaBeouf, Ioan Gruffudd Amanda Bynes, Chris Evans, Josh Duhamel, Katherine Heigl, Seth Rogen, Michael Chiklis, Zac Efron and Tyrese Gibson.
This year’s musical showcase will feature performances from singing sensation Rihanna (featuring hip-hop legend Jay-Z) and Britain’s own sultry songstress Amy Winehouse, who will deliver her first ever live appearance in the US.
Blockbusters up for the coveted golden popcorn at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards are “300,” leading the way with 5 nominations, and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” receiving four nominations. Dominating the British offensive is ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ with 3 nominations. Also vying for awards are, “Blades of Glory,” and “The Devil Wears Prada,” with three nods each.
Hosted by American stand-up and actress Sarah Silverman, the 2007 MTV Movie Awards will take place at the Gibson Theatre in Universal City, California and will air on MTV UK on Monday June 4th @ 9pm.
