Family psychologists may wish to look away now, but America’s most famous dysfunctional family are coming back in January as MTV plays out the whole story of The Osbournes right from the start.
The Osbournes was a cultural phenomenon when it first came to MTV in 2002 and, now viewers have the chance to catch all the action with the first family of rock ‘n’ roll right from the very beginning.
The Osbourne family gave MTV’s cameras astonishing access into their personal and professional lives throughout the filming of the show, with fifty-five cameras hidden around their new South Californian home (the toilet and master bedroom are the only safe havens from our gaze). The series followed the family 24/7 for six months to capture their compulsive and unpredictable lives.
Fiction couldn’t be more entertaining than the reality of the lives of the Osbourne family, a motley crew of spikey haired, constantly swearing, and fantastically unconventional individuals. Bat eating rock star Ozzy Osbourne, his ball-breaking wife Sharon and their teenage children, Jack and Kelly, wrestle on camera with typical familial issues such as school, pocket money, moving house, tattoos, adolescence, chat show appearances and life on the road.
Prepare for dysfunction, lewd language and topsy-turvy relationships in the most remarkable fly-on-the-wall show ever!
