The Hills and The City

Sunday 18 October on MTV 9:00pm: The Hills / 9:30pm: The City

MTV hit series The Hills and The City return to screens on Sunday 18 October with brand new episodes. Many of the faces fans know and love will be back, as well as some new additions to the Tinsel Town and New York scenes.

The last series of The Hills ended with the Hollywood wedding of the year as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, the couple everyone loves to hate, finally tied the knot in true over the top Speidi fashion. And although it seemed Heidi and ex-BFF Lauren Conrad seemed to be building a few bridges, it wasn’t to be, as attending Speidi’s wedding was to be Lauren’s last appearance in The Hills.

But don’t despair the lives and loves of our favourite Hollywood social climbers goon and super bitch Kristin Cavallari, from MTV series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, will be joining the series and spicing things up.

As the new series begins, Kristen is attempting to reconnect with her Hollywood friends. However, things don’t go as smoothly as planned when she hits on Justin Bobby, which, of course, angers his on/off girlfriend Audrina Partridge. Meanwhile, Heidi and Spencer embark on their perfect married life and start house hunting for the ideal LA pad.

When Whitney Port left LA and headed to The City of New York, she hoped she’d left the drama of LA behind her. Little did she know a whole new drama was waiting for her. Whitney had a lot to learn as the new girl in town and her only real friend, Erin Lucas, did her best to help Whitney get to grips with living on the East Coast. As Whitney started her new job at Diane Von Furstenberg, co-worker Olivia Palermo took Whitney under her wing and introduced her to the high society of the Big Apple, and she also embarked on a new relationship with hot model, Jay Lyon.

As the series drew to a close, Whitney and her new group of friends had shared some highs and lows, and Whitney wasn’t sure leaving LA had been the right move. But as the new series starts it’s all change. Whitney goes back to work for her old boss Kelly Cutrone from fashion PR agency, People’s Revolution, and Olivia lands herself a job at Elle magazine where she finally meets her match in co-worker, Erin Kaplan. An old friend of Whitney’s, Roxy Olin, finds herself in New York, in need of a job and a place to crash.
