First it took the US by storm, then it crossed the Atlantic and sent UK viewers into a car customisation frenzy! Now, the ultimate in car makeover shows is going global, as MTV launches Pimp My Ride International.
Following in the footsteps of motor mouthed presenters Xzibit and Tim Westwood, Latino rap superstar Fat Joe teams up with another contender for the king of bling crown, Lil Jon, for six sensational motor makeovers. The action kicks off on Sunday 15th October at 10pm.
Episode One sees Dutch farm hand Cecile’s Citroen undergo the ‘pimp’ treatment, transformed from rust encrusted reject into party machine supreme.
In other highlights, Fat Joe and Lil Jon’s quest to conquer Europe continues, as they head to Sweden to surprise two heavy metal twins. Emil and Jonas’s 1978 Audi has serious image issues, but the pair are startled when the team at All Stoff Garage get into gear to give them a perfect heavy metal homage – a chrome wheeled hell raiser.
The Pimp My Ride experience doesn’t end when the credits roll. A brand new website, www.pimpmyrideint.com, will feature exclusive video content from the show, plus WAP downloads designed to boost your mobile phone’s bling appeal!
