Brand new series starts on Sunday 5 April at 10pm on MTV One
The adrenaline junkies behind brand new stunt series Nitro Circus make the Jackass boys look like playground novices.
Led by motorcycling champion, Travis Pastrana, six extreme sports and stunt experts embark on a non-stop white knuckle ride of risk-taking and thrill-seeking.
Pastrana certainly sets the bench mark for the others to follow. His past exploits include jumping from an aeroplane without a parachute and he was the first person to land a double back flip on a motorcycle; he really knows no limits.
He is joined by Erik ‘Rubberneck’ Roner; a world-class extreme skier and BASE jumper and the only female in the group, Jolene Van Vugt; a professional motocross racer with nerves of steel and can give the guys a serious run for their money.
Jim Dechamp is Pastrana’s best mate and trick partner from back in the day when they shared their early years perfecting BMX moves. He is now a professional mountain bike downhill racer and freestyle rider.
Bringing some comic humour into the mix is ‘Streetbike’ Tommy Passamonte. A wannabe rock star dreaming of fame, his desperate attempts to impress the rest with very little skill provide moments of sheer comedy genius.
Spurring them all on is washed up FMX rider Andy Bell, aka ‘Hasslehoff’, thanks to his apparent huge appeal in Europe. Now better known for his beer drinking and party tricks than his bike stunts of old, Bell keeps the crew in check.
