MTV Networks UK and MySpace strengthen their partnership with new chart show
LONDON - Monday 3rd March: MTV TWO and MySpace, the world’s largest social network, are collaborating to create a new weekly chart show driven by the votes of their audiences.
Premiering on Sunday 16th March at 7pm on MTV TWO, the MySpace Chart on MTV TWO will feature the best videos voted for by the MTV TWO audience and MySpace users at
www.mtv.co.uk/myspacechart
This is the first time that the MySpace audience has helped create a TV chart playlist and is part of the ongoing collaboration between MTV and MySpace, who recently partnered to find a new presenter for MTV News.
The daily vote list – refreshed on a weekly basis – will consist of 35 to 40 videos drawn from the MTV TWO playlist as well as videos from its specialist slots. Each week, in addition to the vote list and in support of new music, MTV TWO will champion and highlight five hot new videos, which will feature on both the MTV TWO webpage and the MTV MySpace profile www.myspace.com/mtvtwo.

The website and MySpace profile will go live on March 10th with the Chart Show premiering on MTV TWO a week later at 7.00pm on Sunday 16th March. As well as the chart, the sixty-minute show will include information about each act, the videos and comments from viewers.
