COLDPLAY AND THE PUSSYCAT DOLLS TO
PERFORM EXCLUSIVE SETS AT THE 2008 MTV MOVIE AWARDS

Coldplay and The Pussycat Cat Dolls join host Mike Myers and the A List fraternity for the hottest showbiz ticket at the MTV Movie Awards 2008. Watch all the action on Monday June 2nd on MTV One @ 9pm .

The multi-award winning band, famed for singles Clocks, Trouble and Speed Of Sound, will take to the Gibson Amphitheatre stage, in sunny California to perform their new single Violet Hill.

The Pussycat Dolls will also be cutting some sexy moves, performing new material on the night. Loosening up the crowds Buttons, they’ll perform When I Grow Up from their upcoming album to be released this summer.

Coldplay and The Pussycat Dolls are just the most recent artists to take to the MTV Movie Awards stage, which has showcased a variety of established and up-and-coming artists.

Last year’s show welcomed Rihanna featuring Jay-Z, and Brit favourite Amy Winehouse. Both Amy Winehouse and Rihanna found themselves at the top of the American Billboard Album charts following electrifying live performances of their hit singles Rehab and Umbrella at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards.

MTV Movie Awards never fail to impress - expect the unexpected when the biggest stars in the world step foot on the red carpet.

Packed with celebrities, comedic moments, and some very special appearances there will no doubt be some great surprises along the way!
