2007 MTV MOVIE AWARDS WILL PREMIERE ON MTV UK ON MONDAY JUNE 4TH @ 9PM
Cameron Diaz, Bruce Willis, Lindsay Lohan, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Samuel L Jackson, John Travolta and LA’s latest recruit Mrs Beckham have all accepted their invites to the most glamorous event in the MTV calendar, the 2007 MTV Movie Awards … and now here is yours!
The 2007 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by American stand-up Sarah Silverman, are expected to set pulses racing and feathers flying as the controversial compere turns her irreverent humour on the A’list attendees. The ceremony promises to be an explosive entertainment spectacle, bursting at the seams with rib-tickling comedy sketches and sensational music performances. This year’s musical showcase will feature appearances from singing sensation Rihanna (featuring hip-hop legend Jay-Z) and sultry songstress Amy Winehouse, who will deliver her first ever live performance in the US.
The showbiz names don’t stop there – the red carpet will be heaving with tinsletown superstars ranging from established legends Cameron Diaz, Samuel L Jackson and John Travolta, to Hollywood up and comers Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan and Shia LaBeouf. Victoria Beckham is also set to cement her position in the LA elite by making a special guest appearance to present an award.
Movies battling it out for their share of MTV’s coveted golden popcorn include ‘300’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’, ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ and ‘The Devil Wears Prada’.
