Parents look away now as The Bedroom Diaries reveal what teenagers really get up to behind closed doors. Following the lives of nine young people, the series documents a personal and emotional journey for each of the contributors, as they share their most intimate thoughts, fears and hopes in an honest exploration of teenage life.
As their hormones rage, The Bedroom Diaries offers the troubled teens the opportunity to speak out on a range of taboo issues including sexuality, promiscuity, relationships, religion and gender confusion.
Series highlights include 21 year old Davey. He is confused about his sexuality and doesn’t know if he is gay, straight or bisexual. A serial Myspacer, he hooks up with both boys and girls across the country. His parents turn a blind eye to his sexual shenanigans, clinging to the hope that he is straight. Meanwhile 14 year old Katty is partying too hard since the separation of her parents. Her drinking and sexual antics are a huge cause of concern for her mum who tries to keep her on the straight and narrow.
This documentary series is made by young people for young people. Filmed over six weeks, it allows viewers the chance to gain an up close and personal insight into the every day lives and loves of young adults trying to work out who they are and what they want.
