Snoop Dogg, Foo Fighters, Mika, Avril Lavigne and My Chemical Romance will be strapping on their Lederhosen and heading for the Bavarian capital, Munich, on Thursday November 1st to perform at the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards.
This year, 'Tha Bigg Boss' himself, rapper and global superstar Snoop Dogg will be taking the reigns as host of Europe's most exciting and unpredictable award show. In his own inimitable ‘Doggy Style’, Snoop will guide audiences through an action-packed evening of show-stopping performances from this year’s hottest acts.
Expect plenty of stunts, shocks and surprises this year, as viewers take complete control over the winners in each category. With rock performances from the likes of Foo Fighters and My Chemical Romance, the crowd can rely on storming sets that will shake the very foundations of Munich’s OlympiaHalle. Flamboyant rising star Mika will be also be adding some pop magic to the proceedings with a glitzy showcase of hits, whilst Avril Lavigne - riding high on the success of her current album - will bring the house down with her own unique brand of punk pop. Mercury Prize winners the Klaxons will also be waiting anxiously in the wings to find out if they've won the New Sounds of Europe award and the right perform on the night as part of their prize.
