The film centres on young sweethearts Vicki and John as they make final arrangements for their wedding day. Every aspect of their nuptial preparations are captured from the selection of rings and venues to the big day itself. Despite their tender age, the couple have traditional approach to marriage giving frank and thoughtful insight into their upcoming commitment through a series of video diaries.
Vicki and John’s journey to wedded bliss is interspersed with candid interviews from several couples who discuss challenges they have overcome to find their perfect partners. These exchanges include comments from young people who have traversed race and class divides and conquered obstacles such as health difficulties and career choices to find true love. Contributors of note include a 24 year old divorcee and a porn star with an exceptionally understanding girlfriend!
