Can young love be true love? MTV launches this spellbinding new weekly series charting the trials and tribulations of young sweethearts - between the ages of 18 and 22 - as they battle their families’ objections and prepare to tie the knot.
This week we follow the nuptials of strict Christians, Lauren and David, as they plan their wedding and more importantly their wedding night! We join the couple as New Yorker Lauren struggles to adapt to life with David’s close-knit country family. When the bride-to-be discovers that their future marital home is located in David’s parents’ back garden, she hatches a plan to cut David free from his mother’s apron strings. David’s mother, however, has other ideas and stakes her claim by taking an alarming interest in their big day - including the hotel room where they plan to lose their virginity!
On top of the intrusive in-laws, Lauren must take on her skeptical brother (who’s unconvinced that their puppy-love can last) before she can successfully walk down the aisle with her handsome hubby.
Brace yourself for high drama and a healthy dose of comedy, as family frictions are forced into the open and pressure cranks up, in the countdown to their big day.
