MTV introduces J-Lo’s Dance Life, a new music reality series that throws open the doors and takes a look inside the intensely competitive world of professional dance.
Each week MTV cameras will follow six L.A based dancers as they battle it out in the industry’s toughest auditions, in the hope of snaring the most coveted dance spots, from music videos to live performances.
Throughout the eight part series, Jennifer Lopez will make cameo appearances and take an integral role in selecting and auditioning the dancers.
Each dancer has their own story that fires their ambition to succeed. Staci, the former Pussycat Doll, is determined to make it second time around. Meanwhile, Blake is fast rising as one of Hollywood’s best dancers – trouble is he knows it and he makes sure everyone else does too!
J-Lo’s Dance Life reveals the tough reality behind the seemingly glamorous world of dance. From the rush of dancing for 30,000 screaming fans to the struggle of paying the rent, MTV will take us on the roller coaster of emotional highs and career crushing lows, with guest appearances from Ashlee Simpson, Nelly Furtado, Omarion and The Pussycat Dolls.
