Do all girls take after their mothers? Instinct is everything for the fifteen guys embarking on the ultimate date with a difference for MTV’s brand new reality series Date My Mom UK. Don’t worry, you’re not about to witness predatory older women on a crusade to cradle snatch. Instead every night one guy will be sent out with three mothers, in the hope of striking up a romance…with one of their daughters! This search for true love with a twist starts on Monday 18th December at 7pm.
The dater will have no access to pictures of the offspring, meaning his impression will be set solely by the mothers. With a mission to coax as much information as possible out of the mothers, the guy will then determine which daughter he considers himself most compatible with. Will his impulses leave him within striking distance of cupid’s arrow or is a gut feeling his stairway to singledom?!
With the dating process complete, it’s time for the guy to make a tricky decision, before delivering his verdict. In an elaborate beachfront finale, the daughters are finally unveiled, but will the guy’s fantasy be fulfilled?
Will the experiences prove to be the perfect mother/daughter bonding remedy or, far from finding a love match, will the show cause a family despatch?
