2009 was the first time MTV have partnered with Camden Crawl, the 3 day metropolitan festival that takes place in our home town. The partnership meant that we were the official broadcasters for the festival, exclusively showing content filmed across our channels. We were also responsible for booking all the headline acts for the Camden Roundhouse venue.
Marketing activity for this included outdoor in Camden Town centre around all of the venues being used. Print adverts were used in the London Paper and online partnerships were formed with HMV and ASOS.
For experiential activity we had the MySpace music bus parked outside the Roundhouse and MTV staff collecting data from festival goers for CRM (customer relationship marketing).
